struck by the heart

(This picture was taken by me in the summer of 2007, in a castle on an isle in front of the coast of Marseille, France. It was the heart that struck me, but also the notion of efficiency in a castle built a few centuries ago, when mankind was still capturing slaves and people were emprisoned only because of having some opposite ideas. Some questions raised: “Why do people always want to last? Why do they always want to leave their track somewhere?”)
